Step-by-Step Drawing Guide
Step 1: Draw the Basic Ear Curves

Start with an inward curling arc to form the outer shape of the rat’s ear.
Add a smaller curved line inside to show the inner ear structure.
Pro Tip: Keep the inner curve following the same direction as the outer edge for a natural ear shape.

Step 2: Add the Other Ear

Draw the second ear on the right, keeping it close in size to the first ear.
Use a larger outer curve and a smaller inner curve to show thickness, with the opening facing the center.
Pro Tip: Leave enough space between the ears so the rat’s head can fit neatly later.

Step 3: Draw the Head Outline and Top Fur

Draw a rounded head outline downward from between the ears, spreading gently on both sides.
Add a few short pointed tufts at the top to make the rat look cuter.
Pro Tip: Keep both sides of the head mostly balanced, while letting the curves stay soft and natural.

Step 4: Draw the Body and Little Feet

From both lower sides of the head, draw curved lines downward to form a rounded body.
Add two small feet at the bottom, then draw short toe lines on each foot.
Pro Tip: Keep the bottom of the body slightly narrower than the head for a cute standing pose.

Step 5: Add the Face and Little Paws

Draw two round eyes in the middle of the head, leaving small highlights inside.
Add the nose, mouth, and two curved little paws to complete the rat’s expression.
Pro Tip: Keep both eyes at the same height so the expression looks neat and cute.

Step 6: Draw the Curved Tail

From the lower right side of the body, draw a long curved tail that lifts upward.
Add a parallel curved line beside it to give the tail some thickness.
Pro Tip: Keep the tail curve smooth, and make the tip slightly pointed.
