Step-by-Step Drawing Guide
Step 1: Draw the Left Heart Curve

Begin near the upper center and curve around a rounded left lobe. Sweep downward and inward toward the heart’s lower point.
Pro Tip: Leave generous space beside the heart for both wings.
Step 2: Complete the Heart

Draw the right lobe from the top notch outward. Bring the curve down to meet the bottom point.
Pro Tip: Compare the width of both lobes before closing the shape.
Step 3: Add a Curved Shine Mark

Draw a short curved accent inside the upper left lobe. Let it follow the nearby outer contour without touching it.
Pro Tip: Leave a small even gap between the accent and outline.
Step 4: Start the Left Wing

Sweep a long rounded feather outward from the heart’s upper left side. Curve inward, then add a second rounded feather below, leaving the wing open.
Pro Tip: Keep the top feather longer than the one beneath it.
Step 5: Finish the Left Wing

Continue the open edge into two smaller rounded feather lobes. Curve the lowest feather inward to meet the heart’s lower left side.
Pro Tip: Let the feather tips form a gentle descending sequence.
Step 6: Draw the Right Wing

Draw a long upper feather sweeping outward from the heart’s right side. Add three rounded lower feather lobes and curve back to the heart.
Pro Tip: Match the right wing’s overall height and width to the left.
Step 7: Color in your drawing!

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I balance a heart with wings?
Compare each wing’s highest feather, outermost tip, and lower attachment to the heart.
Do I need individual feather lines on the heart with wings?
No. The rounded outer lobes already suggest feathers in this simple design.
