Step-by-Step Drawing Guide
Step 1: Draw the Top Hospital Sign Outline

Start near the top center of the page with a long rounded strip for the base of the top section. Then raise a rounded arch shape in the middle and add a small cross inside it so the hospital sign appears first. Keep the shape open and simple at this stage.
Pro Tip: Keep the long strip level first, then add the arch in the middle so the shape feels steady.
Step 2: Add the Main Building, Windows, and Door

Under the top sign, sketch a tall rectangular building so it stands neatly in the center of the page. Add two round windows near the top, three small square windows below them, and a large arched doorway near the bottom. This gives the hospital a clear front view.
Pro Tip: Keep the windows level on both sides and place the door in the center for a balanced look.
Step 3: Add the Right Side Wing

On the right side of the main building, add a shorter side wing with a rounded roof line. Place two rectangular windows on this section, one above the other, and divide each window with a center line. This makes the hospital look larger and more complete.
Pro Tip: Make the side wing a little narrower than the main building so the overlap reads clearly.
Step 4: Add the Left Side Wing

Now add a matching side wing on the left side of the main building. Give it the same rounded roof shape and place two rectangular windows with center lines to echo the right side. The building will now feel more even from side to side.
Pro Tip: Keep both side wings close in height and window placement so the whole building feels even.
Step 5: Add a Small Ambulance in Front

In front of the main doorway, sketch a small ambulance with a rounded body. Add two wheels, a tiny front window, and a cross on the side so it is easy to recognize. This small detail helps the scene feel more active and clearly connected to a hospital.
Pro Tip: Keep the ambulance small so it sits naturally in front of the entrance.
Step 6: Add More Middle Windows

Above the doorway, add two extra small windows on the middle part of the main building. Place one on each side so they sit neatly between the lower and upper details. These added windows help the front of the hospital feel fuller and more balanced.
Pro Tip: Try to keep the new windows at a similar height to the side ones so the drawing stays neat.
Step 7: Color in your drawing!

Fun Facts
Hospitals are places where doctors and nurses help people feel better. Many hospitals have ambulances ready for emergencies at any time. A red cross is often used as a quick symbol for medical care and help.
Pin it now, Draw later!

You started with the top hospital sign, then added the main building, side wings, and a small ambulance. To finish your drawing, trace the final lines neatly and color the medical symbols in red so they stand out. You can also add soft gray shading under the roofs and around the doorway to give the building a little more depth.
One beginner mistake is making the side wings too large, which can hide the main building. Take your time, keep the shapes simple, and enjoy practicing this step by step drawing. Try drawing it again with your own small details, such as extra windows, a path, or a tree beside the hospital.
