Step-by-Step Drawing Guide
Step 1: Draw the Hair and Head

Draw a broad rounded head with a smooth jawline and one ear on each side. Surround it with a shaggy hairstyle made from several long pointed tufts.
Pro Tip: Make the outer hair shape wider than the face so the layers remain visible.
Step 2: Add the Face

Draw two large eyes with pupils and highlights beneath sharply curved eyebrows. Add a small nose and a crooked smiling mouth with a short curve below the lip.
Pro Tip: Slant the eyebrows inward to create the mischievous expression.
Step 3: Draw the Shirt and Overalls

Add a round shirt collar and two long sleeves beneath the head. Draw two broad overall straps over the shoulders and connect them with a rectangular bib.
Pro Tip: Keep the straps parallel so the clothing looks centered on the body.
Step 4: Add the Hands and Prop

Draw a small hand at the end of each sleeve. Wrap the left hand around a short handle, then add a narrow curved prop blade pointing downward.
Pro Tip: Hide the handle behind the fingers to make the grip look clear.
Step 5: Draw the Pants

Add two round buttons to the overall bib and a curved seam across the waist. Extend the overalls into two wide pant legs and add small curved pocket openings near the hips.
Pro Tip: Leave a narrow gap between the pant legs to separate the stance.
Step 6: Finish the Shoes

Draw one large rounded shoe beneath each pant leg. Add a second curved line near each sole to show the thick shoe bottoms.
Pro Tip: Point the shoes slightly outward to make the pose look stable.
Step 7: Color in your drawing!

Pin it now, Draw later!

Erase hidden guides, darken the outline, and color the hair orange, the shirt in bright stripes, and the overalls blue. Your chucky drawing is complete, so try adding simple stitch marks, toy-box details, or a dramatic shadow behind the character.
