Step-by-Step Drawing Guide
Step 1: Draw the Globe

Draw one large rounded circle for the planet. Let the outline be slightly uneven to give the cartoon world a handmade look.
Pro Tip: Leave plenty of open space inside the circle for the continents.
Step 2: Add the Western Continents

Draw a cluster of jagged coastlines across the left half of the globe. Shape North America near the top and extend South America downward to a narrow point.
Pro Tip: Use gentle bumps and corners instead of trying to copy every real coastline.
Step 3: Draw the Eastern Continents

Add Europe and Asia along the upper-right side, then draw the broad outline of Africa below them. Include a few small island shapes near the surrounding coastlines.
Pro Tip: Keep narrow gaps between nearby land shapes so each continent stays easy to read.
Step 4: Add Buildings and Trees

Draw several tiny houses rising above the top edge of the globe. Add two simple trees on the upper-left side with narrow trunks and cloud-shaped leafy tops.
Pro Tip: Tilt the small objects outward so they appear to grow from the curved planet.
Step 5: Decorate the Lower Edge

Add two more trees on the upper-right side and one small tree near the lower-right edge. Draw a pair of tiny peaked houses along the lower-left curve.
Pro Tip: Vary the sizes of the decorations to keep the outline playful and balanced.
Step 6: Finish the Friendly Face

Draw two round eyes inside the globe and place a small highlight or pupil in each one. Add a short curved smile between them, then draw one puffy cloud shape on each side of the planet.
Pro Tip: Position the eyes at the same height to make the expression look calm and friendly.
Step 7: Color in your drawing!

Fun Facts
- Earth is the only known planet with liquid water covering most of its surface.
- Continents slowly move because they rest on large tectonic plates.
- Cartoon globes often simplify coastlines so the main land shapes are easy to recognize.
Pin it now, Draw later!

Erase hidden guides, darken the final outline, and color the oceans blue and the continents in bright natural shades. Your cartoon world is complete, so try adding colorful roofs, green trees, or a starry background.

Frequently Asked Questions
How can I draw a smoother globe?
Turn the paper as you draw and build the circle from several light curved strokes.
Do the continents need to be exact?
No, simplified coastlines work well as long as the major land shapes remain recognizable.
How can I make the decorations look attached?
Begin each trunk or building at the globe outline and angle it away from the center.
