Step-by-Step Drawing Guide
Step 1: Draw the Top Curve

Near the top of your page, draw a long, gentle curved line like a soft rainbow.
Round the ends slightly and keep the stroke smooth to start the bubble outline.
Pro Tip: Keep the curve shallow so the bubble letter looks puffy.
Step 2: Add the Rounded Right Turn

From the right end of the top curve, draw a smooth rounded line that bends downward like a soft corner.
Add a short curve near the bottom that starts turning left to begin the outer edge.
Pro Tip: Make the right corner wide and rounded, not sharp.
Step 3: Add the Rounded Left Side

From the left end of the top curve, draw a smooth rounded line that bends downward to form the left corner.
Add a short curve near the lower left that starts moving right, beginning the bottom edge while keeping a small gap open.
Pro Tip: Make the left and right corners about the same size for a balanced bubble look.
Step 4: Draw the Left Side of the Stem

From the small gap under the left side of the top bar, pull a long curved line downward to form the outer left edge of the stem.
Let it bend slightly left near the bottom so the end feels rounded and bouncy.
Pro Tip: Give the stem a tiny curve instead of making it perfectly straight.
Step 5: Add the Right Stem and Round the Bottom

From the small gap under the right side of the top bar, draw a long curved line downward to form the right edge of the stem.
Curve it into a wide rounded bottom that connects back to the left side, making the stem look puffy.
Pro Tip: Keep the stem width consistent so the bottom curve feels smooth and chunky.
Step 6: Add Small Shine Highlights

Inside the bottom of the stem, draw a short curved line that follows the inner edge like a shine mark.
Add a second, smaller curved dash nearby to make the highlight feel more lively and glossy.
Pro Tip: Keep the shine marks small and light, and don’t touch the outer outline.
Step 7: Color in your drawing!

Fun Facts

- You can change the mood by changing the outline thickness and the roundness of corners.
Pin it now, Draw later!
