How to Draw a Valentine Teddy Bear — Let’s get started!

Step 1 – Draw the Head.

How to Draw a Valentine Teddy Bear - Step 1 - Draw the Head.

Start by drawing a medium-sized circle near the top-center of your page.

This will be the teddy bear’s head. Don’t stress about a perfect shape—it’s okay to be a little round or bumpy!

📝 Tip: Trace a cup if you want a super round head.

Step 2 – Add the Arms.

From each side of the head, draw a curved line that slopes downward and outward—kind of like two upside-down bananas.

Then, draw a second curved line next to each one to complete the chubby arms.

These arms should look like they’re resting on the bear’s lap.

Step 3 – Draw the Legs.

Below the arms, draw two large ovals next to each other. These are the legs and feet, and they should be wide and round.

Place them close together so the bear looks like it’s sitting down.

🧸 Fun Fact: In real teddy bears, wide feet help them sit up on their own!

Step 4 – Add the Ears.

On top of the head, draw two small circles—one on the left and one on the right.

Inside each, add a smaller circle for the inner ear.

Pro Tip: Tilt them slightly out for a cuter, natural look.

Step 5 – Draw Heart-Shaped Paw Pads.

In the center of each foot, draw a heart shape. These are the paw pads, and they make your teddy bear extra Valentine-y! 💝

❤️ This small detail brings in the holiday charm!

Step 6 – Add the Belly.

Between the arms and just above the feet, draw a large, curved shape for the belly.

It can look like an upside-down “U” or a soft oval. This gives your teddy a snuggly shape.

You can color this part lighter later for contrast.

Step 7 – Draw a Collar and Heart Pendant.

Give your bear a cute Valentine accessory!

Draw a curved line across the top of the chest for the collar.

Then, add a small heart pendant hanging in the middle. You can even write a message like “LOVE” or “BE MINE” inside it!

Step 8 – Add the Face.

Now let’s give this little bear some character!

Eyes: Two small black circles near the top of the head

Nose: A small triangle or oval in the center

Mouth: Draw a short line down from the nose, then curve it up into a gentle smile

Optional: Add little eyebrows, blush spots, or a wink for extra expression.

Your bear is alive with personality now!
